Miami-Dade County Advisory Boards
The Clerk of the Board (COB) serves as the official recordkeeper and administrative coordinator for the advisory boards, committees, councils, and trusts established by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). In this role, the COB tracks, processes, and maintains all member appointments made by the BCC and other appointing entities in accordance with Miami-Dade County Code Sections 2-11.36.1, 2-11.37, 2-11.38, 2-11.38.1, and 2-11.38.2, along with any other applicable County or State legislation.
Service on a County board is voluntary and uncompensated. Residents who wish to contribute their time and expertise to local government are encouraged to explore the opportunities available.
