About Us

The Clerk's Procurement Office fulfills a vital role in the delivery of quality services to Miami-Dade County residents. This office oversees the procurement and contract management of vendor-provided services, playing an essential role in the Clerk's commitment to public service excellence.

The Procurement Office's primary responsibilities include:

  1. Managing procurement processes with the utmost integrity and efficiency
  2. Overseeing contract management to ensure vendor compliance and service quality
  3. Implementing quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of service delivery
  4. Exercising fiscal responsibility in all procurement and contract matters
  5. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing procurement activities

Through these functions, the Procurement Office upholds the Clerk's dedication to transparent, effective, and responsible service to the residents of Miami-Dade County.

The Clerk’s Administrative Policy and Internal Procedure establishes the official frameworks governing all purchasing and contracting activities conducted by the Clerk of the Court and Comptroller of Miami-Dade County.

The Clerk is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout all procurement processes. 
 
To protect the integrity of competitive solicitations, the Clerk may, when appropriate, impose communication limitations during an active procurement. When such limitations are in effect, vendors, their representatives, and affiliated parties may not contact Clerk employees regarding the solicitation, except through the designated procurement officer(s) identified in the solicitation. 
 
All questions or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing using the method specified in the solicitation, typically through the question/answer feature in INFORMS or by e-mail to the assigned procurement officer.
